Alban Wagener Architecture investigated in AI enhanced design-process related visualization services to rapidly show design decisions to your clients.
August 2025,
The studio has developed an AI-enhanced design workflow to support architects and practices in accelerating design development, visualization, and decision-making without compromising architectural intent.
By combining advanced 3D visualization, photogrammetry-based material capture, and AI-assisted generative tools, the workflow replaces time-consuming physical models and repetitive manual iterations with a flexible, fully digital process. This enables the rapid generation and comparison of design variants, material systems, and spatial strategies at a high level of realism.
The workflow integrates seamlessly into established architectural processes, supporting early-stage concept testing, design development, and client communication. AI is employed strictly as an assistive design instrument—enhancing exploration, reducing production time, and supporting informed architectural decisions rather than automating authorship.
Beyond efficiency gains, this approach significantly reduces material waste, energy consumption, and unnecessary rework, contributing to a more sustainable and scalable architectural practice. The result is a precise and adaptable system that allows the studio and its collaborators to focus on design quality, strategic thinking, and innovation.
